4. How is Orlando Canine Country Club different than other dog facilities?
We provide on-site outdoor facilities for your dog to run leash free. Many facilities are in warehouse complexes, but we own our 1 acre of land and 5,600 square foot building. We include all outdoor play time with our large outdoor deck complete with sanitary bone-shaped baby pools! Your pooch will be pooped after running around all day!

5. How close is Orlando Canine Country Club to the airport?

6. Do you have airport parking?

We do not have airport parking, but we have teamed up with Park, Bark and Fly. Visit our Parking page for more information, or visit www.parkbarkandfly.com to make a reservation.

7. What are the requirements?
We require all pets to be current with their vaccinations. Please review our Requirements page for more details.

8. What is "Temperament Testing" all about?
Temperament Testing is for the safety of your pet. We must evaluate your pet’s temperament and personality to make sure he/she will be social with other dogs. If you are making a reservation through Park, Bark, and Fly, and cannot bring your dog in for "Temperament Testing," we will determine your pet’s temperament after check in. If it is determined that your dog is not social with other dogs, you will be charged an additional $10 per day so your dog receives the individual play time and potty breaks he/she deserves.

9. What are your hours of operation?
We are open 7 days a week for convenient drop off and pick up, except on holidays. See our Hours page for more details.

10. Do I need to make a reservation for my dog?
Yes, it is recommended that you make a reservation by calling us, or if you are interested in the parking offer, make a reservation at www.parkbarkandfly.com.

11. Why does my dog need Nap Time during Day Care or an overnight stay?
Since our guests play both inside and outside, it is important that they get a mandatory rest period from 12-2 every day in individual suites. This helps promote happier dogs.

12. What will my dog do during an overnight stay?

An overnight stay includes your dog’s own suite for sleeping. During the day, your dog will be rotated outdoors for leash free play time in our ½ acre backyard with a sunbathing deck and sanitary, bone-shaped baby pools.

13. What is a Caddie Shack?

A Caddie Shack is a large, private room for your dog(s). It was intended for large dog families to share, but any dog can be pampered in a Caddie Shack for a more luxurious stay. Visit our Boarding page for more details.

14. Where are the Webcams located and how can I view them?
The Webcams are placed in every Day Care Room and also our outdoor play areas. All Caddie Shacks also have private Canine Cams for you to view your pet. Please visit the Canine Cams page for directions and you can take a sneak peek at the rooms!

15. What if my dog gets injured or sick?
We will evaluate the extent of your dog’s injury and contact you. We will recommend if your dog needs same day medical attention, or if it can wait until your return. For same day medical attention, we will attempt to take your dog to your vet, and we will need to contact you to speak to the vet for consent. If your vet is not available, we will take your pet to Lake Nona Animal Clinic, where they will call you for permission to see your dog. If it is after hours, we will proceed to an emergency animal clinic. Orlando Canine Country Club will pay for vet fees at the time of services, and you, the owner, will reimburse The OCCC at check out.

16. Can I board other animals at Orlando Canine Country Club?

We also board cats… as well as other small animals. If you have other animals you wish to board, please ask our staff about availability.

top

17. Can my dog board with another friend’s/family members dog?

Yes, you can board dogs that are “friends” in the same suite, but you must sign a special “suite sharing” waiver. The cost of the suite is per dog. For example, if you are booking 2 dogs from separate families the cost is $42 per dog… not the $55 rate for two dogs.
